1. Who We Are

Store Bot is a Discord bot service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service — whether you are a server owner, administrator, or a member of a server where Store Bot is installed.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect data that is necessary to operate the Service:

• Discord Server ID: To associate your store configuration with your server.
• Discord User IDs: To track which users have placed orders, created products, or used bot commands. We do not collect usernames or profile pictures unless you explicitly provide them through bot commands.
• Product listings and store settings: The names, descriptions, and prices you enter when creating products and configuring your store.
• Order records: Information about orders placed through your store, including the product ordered, the buyer's Discord user ID, and order status.
• Premium subscription data: If you purchase Premium, we retain a record of the subscription tied to your server ID. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store credit card or financial details.
• Command usage: We may log basic command usage for debugging and service improvement. These logs do not include message content outside of bot commands.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

• We do not read, store, or process general Discord messages or channel history
• We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or real-world identity information
• We do not track users across servers or build behavioral profiles
• We do not collect information from users who have not directly interacted with a Store Bot command

4. How We Use Your Data

Data collected by Store Bot is used exclusively to:

• Operate your store, display products, and process orders within your server
• Maintain order history and store configuration between sessions
• Manage Premium subscriptions and feature access
• Debug issues and improve the reliability of the Service

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We may use third-party hosting or database providers to store data on our behalf. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing their service to us.
• Payment processors: If you purchase Premium, your payment information is handled directly by our payment processor. We receive only confirmation of payment — not your card details.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Store Bot or the public.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as Store Bot is active in your server. If you remove Store Bot from your server, you may request deletion of your server's stored data by contacting us through our support server. Order history may be retained for a limited period for dispute-resolution purposes before being deleted.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is perfectly secure. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you are providing information at your own risk.

8. Children's Privacy

Store Bot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your data, including the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us through our support server. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may also have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Third-Party Services

Store Bot operates within Discord and is subject to Discord's Privacy Policy as well. We are not responsible for Discord's data practices. If you use external payment methods to complete purchases from Sellers, those payment providers have their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be announced in our support server. Continued use of Store Bot after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
